Joy Pointe is a Tennessee based performer who has experience in both acting and singing. When she’s not at home doing live theatre in the Nashville area, she spends her time traveling and performing as a singer/dancer (mostly at Cedar Fair theme parks). While she is an excellent soloist, she enjoys singing back up and harmonies.
Currently serving as in house drummer at Faith Outreach Church Clarksville TN for the past fifteen years. Played with renowned artitsts on occasions. Have collaborated with various artists and recording projects over the last year. Currently assigned as Drummer for Full Circle and currently working on projects for new Record Label Granny Sue Records based in Clarksville TN.
I have an extensive musical background. Played French Horn and Jazz Guitar in Jazz Band throughout Junior High & High School. Played with various bands in Tampa, Florida. Studied Guitar & Music Theory at the University of Miami, Coral Gable FL.Worked five years as a Music Teacher in Puerto Rico. Received Masters Degree in Counseling & Psychology from Columbia University, New York. Received Teacher's Guidance Counselor Award in 2017. Coordinated after-school jazz band program at various public schools in New York City.
